Total control over your sound cues

Whatever your sound file format, Cue Player can handle it: wav, mp3, wma, ogg, mid, cda, m3u, m4a, flac, ac3. If you don’t like how it sounds, there is a 5 band equalizer and reverb with mix and time. Starting the file a little way in or finishing it early is easy to do. Output can be directed to different channels of a 5.1 or 7.1 sound card. With multiple cards installed, different cues can go to different cards. For triggering, choose between your choice of Play key, or how far along a currently playing cue has progressed. Autofollow, advance at end, advance at start, loop, and wait let you choose how to progress through your show. Configure the Cue in so many ways Plays all these formats without conversion: wav, mp3, wma, ogg, m4a, flac, ac3, cda, m3u, mid. The number pad can be used to select and play sounds. Useful at sporting events to play “Jock Jams”. The cue text font is selectable. Cue text color and cue background color are settable by cue. An Auto Fade can be selected to fade the cue a settable number of seconds before its end. Beyond stereo, if a 5.1 (or greater) sound card is available, speaker selection is possible by cue. The sound card used to play the cue can be selected cue by cue. A Function key can be assigned to play a cue. Doing so will make the cue independent and playing the cue will not reposition your location in the cue list. A cue can be a volume change cue for a previously playing cue. A cue can be a time delay cue between playing and next to play cues. A cue can be triggered to start a certain time into the playing of another cue. A cue can trigger the fade out of another while starting itself - crossfade. The Master, or sound card, volume level can be set at Cue Player start to be either what it was when you last used the program, or what is was when the last numbered cue was edited. In effect, either computer specific or cue file specific. The starting position of a long cue can be set before or during playback. Useful in rehearsal when the Director asks for “the last 30 seconds” of that music. Auto Advance can be set for either the start or end of that cue. Allows several cues to start at once. A Black background selection is available. Running time is displayed for each active cue. Cue files can be exported as CSV files for viewing as a spreadsheet. Playback can be controlled by MIDI commands. Cue file relocation is supported as well as building a cue file from a directory of sounds. Useful when visiting troups bring their own sounds. Sound files can be drag-and-dropped into the cue list. Open Sound Control commands can be sent and received. DMX commands can be sent. A sound may be vamped at any position and then cued to continue to the end. A CPU usage monitor shows when there is a risk of stuttering. The PLUS version allows playback control of videos, pictures, and web cams!
