Connecting to CPP
Connecting to CPL
Connecting to Cue Player will display an orange dot at the end of the tool bar. The address and port must have been set in the Preferences tool previously. Cue Player Premium itself will display a Cue Player Lighting icon at the top of it's main screen to indicate it is connected.
This program will or can continue to run just as if it is not connected. Cues can be selected, edited, run, etc. without any regard to the connection. If, however, a command from Cue Player Premium is received, it will execute immediately. There are only 6 commands it will receive: Play ##, where ## is a cue call number, Goto ##, Stop to stop a loop, Black, which causes a blackout, Next And Back to play either the next or previous cue. As an example, if you are sitting in cue 40 and the command to "Play 70" comes in, the software will jump to that line and play the cue.
The default port for network connections from CPP is 5085.
To send a command to CPP, you must use OSC. The default address of CPP is /cpsound. To play cue line 26, for example, enter "/cpsound/play 26" as the command.
