Cue Player Premium Help

Cue Player Premium is a program to play theater sound cues. I needed to stop years of wrestling with cassette players and reel-to-reel decks, or even CD players, to get cues on time - especially when actors skip pages or transpose scenes! I thought it would be good to use the computer to help. Actually, that was several years ago. Cue Player has been in constant use and incremental development for over 10 years with now over 1000 licences around the world.

If you can get your cues into .wav, .ogg, .wma, .flac, .ac3, or .mp3 files, and there are many programs to do this, plus the CDs of sound cues available, you can build a file of cues and their sounds with Cue Player Premium. The program will present the normal sequence of cues and allow you to play them simply with a mouse click or button push. You can also add music from the computer's CD player for pre and/or post performance sound.

The video control option that shows up in the description of some of the menus and screens is an additional cost to the base program. If you are a small theater, don't think that video is beyond your reach. Where I am Technical Director (www.blackfriars.org), we use two consumer grade projectors to great effect. Imagine the impact that actual falling snow, rain, or flowing water on the stage floor would have on your next production!
